At the fall of the Ming dynasty, the Imperial Court is under the control of corrupted eunuch Jia. Jia and the Mongolian king act in collusion to infiltrate the country, and the elite team of the Jynywei is assigned to steal the prominent imperial seal. Unbeknownst to Qinglong, this mission is merely to set him up as the scapegoat of the conspiracy, and he is betrayed for this by his fellow Jynywei brother Xuan Wu.
